Fitness

Fitness is an activity to be learnt for life. Students will learn the importance of mind and body fitness, and how to keep healthy and fit for every day learning.

Concentration/Focus

Focus plays a key role in the mind set of our Little Pumas. We teach how to really focus on the task at hand. We aim to develop focus in their surroundings, concentration on touch and sound, good aim, good listening skills and focusing on good techniques.

Emergency Skills

Learn more simple lifesaving skills, such as who to call and what to do in an emergency. Students will be encouraged to learn their own telephone number, as well as the Green Cross Code.

Coordination

Good co-ordination will be learnt through our drills and games. Students will learn right and left, as well as improving their motor skills.

Balance

Balance is an important skill in the proper development of our Little Puma's kicks. Having good balance especially leads to better posture which will make our students appear more confident.

Memory

Memory is one of the most important skills to develop, for many reasons. Students will begin to retain techniques and lessons. The will also begin to make smart decisions because they will remember important things that have been taught. Just watch how smart they become.

Discipline

Martial arts is an ideal activity to teach every day discipline. Classes are run with fun but in a strict disciplined manner. Students will follow our role models and discipline will become the norm. Discipline also teaches children about self control, courtesy and perseverance. We will encourage them to discipline themselves in whatever they do, in training, at home and at school.

Stranger Danger

Stranger Danger Drills are taught, so children learn how to react in different situations. How to avoid conflict, when to shout for attention and help, learning how to be aware of their surroundings and any danger. This could be a life saving skill.
